1.Who We Are
This Privacy Policy is issued by Timetothaitour (trading as Time2ThaiTour), a tour operator registered in the Kingdom of Thailand, Company Registration Number 830166800001, with its registered office at No. 2 Village 11, Paklok Subdistrict, Thalang, Phuket 83110, Thailand. The Managing Director is Jurarat Reid.
We are the data controller for personal information you provide when you book or take part in any of our jetski tours in Phuket or Koh Samui, Thailand.
2.What We Collect
To process a booking, comply with Thai marine safety and insurance law, and provide our service we collect:
- Identity data — full name, passport number, passport image (on the day of the tour)
- Contact data — email address, phone number (with country code), WhatsApp number, Line ID
- Booking data — selected tour, date, session, number of riders and jetskis, hotel name and room number, transfer pickup zone, notes
- Payment data — handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we receive only confirmation of payment, the last 4 digits, and a transaction reference
- Marketing data — limited to public engagement on our Instagram, TikTok, and Line accounts where you choose to follow or message us
- Technical data — language preference stored locally in your browser (no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies)
3.How We Use Your Data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To confirm and operate your tour booking (including allocating jetski model and transfer)
- To meet Thai marine and tourism regulatory requirements, including passport verification before participation
- To insure each rider for health cover and (on the 9-Point Grand Tour only) jetski damage cover, which requires sharing your identity with our insurance partner
- To take payment and process refunds, where applicable, via Stripe
- To contact you about your booking by WhatsApp, phone, email or Line — including arrival instructions, schedule changes, weather notices, and emergency information
- To respond to enquiries you send us before or after a tour
- To comply with the law, court orders, or requests from competent Thai authorities
4.Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:
- Stripe — to process card payments. Stripe is an independent data controller. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Our insurance provider — to register each rider under our tour insurance policy
- Thai authorities — including Marine Department, police, and emergency services, where required by Thai law or in an emergency
- Our service partners — drivers and guides who deliver the tour, who handle your details only for the duration of your booking and under our instruction
- GetYourGuide — if your booking originally came through GetYourGuide, we share the minimum data needed to confirm your reservation
5.International Transfers
Stripe processes payment data outside Thailand. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards published by Stripe and on Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA B.E. 2562) cross-border transfer provisions.
6.How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep:
- Booking and identity records — for the period required by Thai tourism and insurance law (typically up to 5 years after the tour date)
- Payment records — for the period required by Thai tax and accounting law (typically 5 years)
- Contact data for repeat customers — until you ask us to delete it
After the retention period we either delete the data or fully anonymise it.
7.Your Rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep by law
- Object to use of your data for marketing
- Withdraw any consent you previously gave (this will not affect processing already carried out)
- Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand

8.Children
Our minimum participation age is 15. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 15. Where a guest is between 15 and 18, we require parental or guardian consent before participation.
9.Photos & Video on Tour
Our guides may take group photos or short video clips at scenic stops on the tour, which we sometimes use on our Instagram or TikTok. If you do not want to appear in our social media content, please tell your guide before the tour begins and we will respect that.
10.Cookies & Local Storage
Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. We store one item locally in your browser — your selected language — so the site loads in the right language on your next visit. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
11.Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including secure payment processing through Stripe, restricted access to booking records, and staff training on confidentiality. No system is perfectly secure; in the unlikely event of a data breach involving your personal information we will inform you and the relevant authority without undue delay.
12.Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our operations, the law, or our partners change. The current version is always available at time2thaitour.com/privacy-policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
