Traditional Thai longtail boat in turquoise water

Private charter · Phang Nga Bay

Longtail
the slow way.

About the boat

The longtail is Thailand's original island-hopper — a slim wooden hull with an exposed engine and a long propeller shaft the driver dips into the water like an oar. Slower than a jet ski, warmer than a speedboat, and hands-down the most beautiful way to reach a hidden bay. We charter them privately for your group, with a local skipper who knows exactly where the water goes turquoise.

Route 01 · Departs from Phuket

Longtail from
Rawai Pier.

Our main service — a traditional wooden longtail out of Rawai on the south tip of Phuket. Half-day or full-day loop through the closest, calmest island chain. Snorkelling stops between every beach.

Islands on the route

·Coral Island (Koh Hey) — soft sand, snorkel reef
·Racha Yai — clear water, quiet bays
·Bon Island — small beach lunch stop
·Maiton Island — dolphin sightings offshore
·Khai Islands (Nok / Nui / Nai) — three-in-one hop
·Lone Island — quieter alternative to Coral

Included on every trip

· Snorkel mask & fins
· Fresh fruit platter
· Bottled water & ice
· Life jackets
· Local captain
· Hotel pickup (Rawai zones)

Route 02 · Departs from Phi Phi Don

Longtail from
Phi Phi Don.

Already staying on Phi Phi? We arrange a traditional longtail from Ton Sai pier — the low-and-slow way to loop Phi Phi Leh, Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon. Great half-day option.

Stops on the loop

·Maya Bay — The Beach
·Viking Cave — rock paintings
·Pileh Lagoon — emerald swim
·Loh Samah Bay — snorkel entry
·Monkey Beach — resident macaques
·Bamboo Island — powder sand

Same includes as the Rawai trip — snorkel gear, water, fruit platter, life jackets, local captain. Note: this service departs from Phi Phi Don, not Phuket. If you are on Phuket and want to see Phi Phi, take the private speedboat instead.
